Eric Platt

Managing Director
With a successful track record in the Agricultural industry spanning over 20 years, Eric established himself as a respected and seasoned businessman.
During this time, Eric distinguished himself in growth and turnaround strategies that ultimately saw him at the helm of a group of companies with a combined revenue in excess of R500 million. His involvement in community and social activities saw him gaining the respect of both Government and the community and resulted in him serving on a number of Industry and Government advisory boards.
Eric joined SAFIC (Pty) Ltd as the Managing Director in October 2007 with the mandate to re-engineer the Company for future growth. His leadership, vision, optimism and strategic ability are evident in the direction and growth of the Company.
Luke Quinn

Financial Director
Luke joined the SAFIC group of companies in 2000.
During the past 20 years he has been involved in many aspects of financial management, administration and operations.
Luke occupies the post as financial director for all of the companies within the Environmental Solutions Division. His qualifications are used extensively throughout his involvement in all aspects of financial and accounting functions required within the afore-mentioned companies.
Luke also addresses issues surrounding aspects of standards and risk mitigation.
Douglas Cutter

Commercial Director
Doug Cutter joined SAFIC in 1997 as Production Manager.
He has Chemistry degree from the University of Witwatersrand and has had many years of experience in operations, product development and research and business development. He has had extensive experience establishing businesses across Africa.
He serves on technical committees at the SABS and the Chemical and Allied Industries Association and is a member of the IODSA.
Karabo Nondumo CA (SA)

Non-Executive Director
Karabo is an executive director of Soraspace Capital (Pty) Ltd, a former Executive Head of Vodacom Business and Mergers and Acquisitions for the Vodacom Group.
Founding CEO of AWCA Investment Holdings Ltd (an investment company owned by African Women Chartered Accountants in South Africa) and former Associate at Shanduka Group as well as Executive Assistant to the Executive Chairman.
Karabo is currently an Independent Non-Executive Director of Harmony Gold Mining Company Ltd, Sanlam Ltd, Richards Bay Coal Terminal and Advisory Board Chairperson of Senatla Capital and a Trustee of Mabindu Trust and Ubuntu-Botho Women’s Trust.
Mathukana Mokoka CA (SA)

Mathukana is an executive director of Soraspace Capital (Pty) Ltd, a Chartered Accountant with diverse work experience in strategic, financial and project management.
Mathukana is currently an Independent Non-Executive Director of Sanlam Limited, Contract Services Limited, Alviva Holdings and Palabora Mining (Pty) Ltd.
